SOMEONE STOP HIM, WHAT THE HELL IS INDIVIDUAL PROPERTY?, DOES HE KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT,HOW DO YOU INDIVIDUALISE PROPERTY, HOW DOES THAT EVEN WORK.
If you haven’t read libertarian texts which cover “State of Nature” & “Compact Theory” you should get on that.
Property is the affirmation of the Individual’s self ownership, in that he has the right to the product of his own labor. Resources being necessarily scarce/finite; As long as things exist, someone will have the power to use them.
The sovereignty over one’s own labor and product there of, is necessary to equality; without which the individual is slave to another and thus unequal.
Equality is only secured by the enshrinement of property law. Each according to his own ability & choice of what to do with what he can derive from himself. It is the only equal and fair method of distribution, as one’s own property must be derived from one’s own inherent resource, such as labor, mutually voluntarily exchanged; each necessarily valuing the other’s good or service more than what he himself has to offer up, that being the only objectively fair method of pricing. [Currency only being a versatile vessel for the value of labor and or its produce]
Glenn often using the description of “more and more Libertarian every day” for himself, and his having shown a better than decent knowledge base in Classical Liberalism; yes I would say, that although its not a common topic, he understands the general precepts in these philosophies upon which Individual Property rests.
All I see is a capitalistic approach to property disguised in the method much founded on Lockean principles of liberalism, which in itself is a farce.
This is simply using the idea of all being equal as a mask to shield inequality. In effect you have simply treated a mass global corporation the same as an individual in a third world country.
Bravo.
