Landlady Trollop “cheats” all the time. As far as she is concerned, she shouldn’t be tied down to one person and isn’t obliged to be the “property” of another, despite being married several times, hence the “trollop” although seeing as she is the resident HBIC the amount of fucks she gives at the name is non existent. 

In fact, she’s probably sleeping with your character right now…
